Are you interested in jazz music in a laid back atmosphere? Do you enjoy people dancing to your music? Do you like wearing spiffy bowler hats? If any of these apply, Swing Band is for you! We rehearse on Wednesday nights from 8-9:30 in West Hall 326. No auditions are required. We typically have 3-5 gigs a semester, playing at RMA (Rensselaer Music Association) concerts, dance events and even on WRPI! Our set list features a plethora of genres, including jazz standards, funk, swing and rock and we have a budget to purchase new music every year. Don't have an instrument? Don't worry! The RMA has a wide variety of instruments to loan out. So come on out and jam with us!
